The Role: Based at our North Walsham branch, we are looking for Machine Setters / Plastic Moulders which will be responsible for ensuring self-sufficiency of an operational team. The role forms part of one area on a shift team which will include moulding. Working closely with the Team Leader they will be responsible for day to day operations within the department including tool and colour changes as well as improvement and process control.

Reporting To: Team Leader

Shift Patterns: The Shift Setter will be required to work for our 24/7 business working 12 hour shifts. The weekly hours are 42 per week, divided into 3.5 shifts per week over a two week period. Hours are from 6.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. and from 6.00 p.m. to 6.00 a.m. alternating. You will also be requested to complete a 15 minute handover per shift as overtime.

Supply Chain Administrator

Purpose:
The Supply Chain Administrator role is key to ensuring customer requirements are met on time and in full. The role includes customer service (taking the order) to exporting the order to the customer or importing for our deliveries / supply chain. This includes facilitating customer and supplier partnerships to enhance the reputation of a market leading organisation.

Main Areas of Responsibility

  • Health and Safety awareness ensuring a zero accident mentality following all legal and company procedures.
  • Receive orders from customers and process
  • Respond to customers with pricing details, delivery dates, confirmation of their orders and schedules
  • Work with finance on account receivables, ensuring customers meet payment terms
  • Manage customers complaints, investigating and resolving issues
  • Provide assistance with sales reporting and production scheduling, ensuring good dialogue is maintained
  • Manage the process for international shipments in and out of the UK
  • Co-ordinate the required documentation in order to process all export and import shipments in an accurate and timely manner
  • Completion and monitor of export and import declarations / paperwork for handling agents and customs
  • Communication with shippers, customs, border controls, customers, suppliers and internal department
  • Provide information to HMRC as required
  • Maintain files and keep up to date on commodity codes and certifications required for different countries
  • Calculate duties, tariffs, price conversions, weight and volume of goods exported to and from foreign destinations as required
  • Provide warehouse with the loading documents on time with order
  • Maintain reports and clearance document
  • Resolve or escalate any issues as they arise in a prompt manner to ensure shipments meet the customers delivery date expectations
  • Review invoices to ensure accuracy

The Role: Based at our North Walsham branch, we are looking for multiple multi skilled Maintenance Engineers which will be responsible for first line maintenance, repairs and servicing of factory assets including injection moulding machines and ancillary equipment.

Shift Patterns: The Shift Technician will be required to work for our 24/7 business working 12 hour shifts. The weekly hours are 42 per week, divided into 3.5 shifts per week over a two week period. Hours are from 6.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m. and from 6.00 p.m. to 6.00 a.m. alternating. You will also be requested to complete a 15 minute handover per shift as overtime.

Please note that we may consider Trainees if they already have a basic understanding of Engineering.

Quality Engineer

Purpose:
To support the Quality manager and quality team in achieving adherence to the quality standards of Weener Plastics, according to legislation and procedures. Active involvement in the drive for change and continuous improvement. This role is key to the companies' achievement of World Class Manufacturing and a 'zero defects' culture.

Main Areas of Responsibility

  • Performance testing of current products, to ensure adherence to specification.
  • Measurement analysis using all facilities available and transferring data to spreadsheets.
  • Programming & Maintenance of Laboratory Test Equipment (including CMM, Force test equipment and others).
  • Set up of SPC & monitoring on key products to measure process capability.
  • Support the investigation, RC & CAPA for external and internal Non Conformances.
  • Apply problem solving principles (7-Step, 5 Whys etc) to Non Conformances, Investigations and other.
  • Perform and document internal audits & associated CAPA. Implement CAPA.
  • Support and active involvement in external audits (ISO9001, BRCGS).
  • Development of New and Existing WI's/SOP's, Quality Documents, policies & procedures.
  • Maintenance & upkeep of Quality reference samples & systems.
  • Customer Documentation – DoC, CofA, Questionnaires etc.
  • Ensure the calibration system is kept up to date (internal and external calibration).
  • Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities
  • Quality representation in meetings as required.
  • Active involvement in promoting a proactive Quality & Safety Culture to the site.
  • Provide training and support to quality assurance team on systems, policies, procedures, and core processes as required.
