Sr. Customer Service Supervisor 40 hours per week

General Purpose

The Sr. Customer Service Supervisor will lead the Customer Service department and manage customer interactions, as well as provide solutions that fit individualized situations and prioritize the customer's needs at each step of the process.

Principle Accountabilities

  • Supervise the Customer Service Department and ensure that customer needs are met in a timely manner.
  • Provide resource planning and training of Customer Service staff.
  • Work closely with the Production Scheduler to ensure that customer requirements are met in a timely manner.
  • Monitor the work of the Customer Service Dept. to ensure accurate entry and processing of orders, shipping documents, invoicing, and that customers are updated as changes are made.
  • Analyze production needs based on customer trends.
  • Build strong customer relationships.
  • Develop policies and procedures to maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Report all accidents or near misses.
  • Adhere to all environmental and quality standards.
  • Any other tasks that may be necessary to meet the production schedule in a safe and efficient manner.

Position Differentiation by Level

Level 1 - Pay Range: $40,000 - $45,000

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a Customer Service Supervisor role in a manufacturing environment
  • ERP & MRP experience

Knowledge/Skills/Duties:

  • Knowledge of customer service and maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods
  • Ability to think strategically
  • Ability to interact well with internal and external customers
  • Proficient use of computer systems and software applications
  • Knowledge of ERP or MRP software preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with managers and employees of the organization

Level 2 - Pay Range: $45,001 - $55,000

Education/Experience:

  • 5-7 years of experience in a Customer Service Supervisor role in a manufacturing environment

Knowledge/Skills/Duties:

  • Same as level 1

Level 3 - Pay Range: $55,001 - $65,000

Education/Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience in a Customer Service Supervisor role in a manufacturing environment

Knowledge/Skills/Duties:

  • Same as level 1
  • Demonstrates advanced knowledge in customer service
  • Demonstrates advanced/ thorough knowledge of the injection molding industry
  • Demonstrates advanced customer (external and internal) relationship skills
